小屋敷 剛
音楽家。青森県三沢市出身。バークリーメソッド、音楽史を学び、弦楽や室内楽の作曲も手掛ける。国内外でライブを行い、自身のソロワークを制作する傍ら、写真／グラフィック等の展示会、映画や舞台への楽曲提供も手掛けている。08年、mAtterより電子音によるアルバム『slit』をリリース。リズムとドローン、ラウドネスとサイレンス、抑制と疾走、饒舌と寡黙。細部まで徹底的に構築されたストーリーテリングの妙に多くの注目が集まる。10年、『slit』の延長線上にあるアルバム『TOUCH』をリリース。
ロゴスに回収されてしまう前の、概念化／言語化不可能な領域での鑑賞者との対話を強く希求し、音楽の本質が学問や論理には依らず、音楽そのものであることによってのみ成立するというアティテュードを持つ。

musician. he studied berklee method and music history and composes for strings ensemble and chamber ensemble.besides his solo work, he composes music for various media such as exhibitions of photography/graphics, movie sound tracks and theaters.his music longs for the communication with listeners in the field where conceptualization and verbalization are impossible.his musical attitude is that the essentials of music does not depend on academia or logic and music stands by itself.
